Claim it freeAntonio and Son Contracting is a trusted foundation & waterproofing provider serving the greater Erie area. With a commitment to quality, they deliver reliable foundation & waterproofing services to residential and commercial customers throughout Erie, Millcreek, Harborcreek, Fairview, and surrounding communities.
Erie's freeze-thaw cycles, high water table, and lake-effect precipitation create serious foundation challenges. Basement flooding is common in low-lying neighborhoods like Glenwood and parts of South Erie. Homes built before 1970 in Downtown Erie and Little Italy often need crack sealing, waterproofing, and sump pump installation. Spring snowmelt is the peak season for foundation emergencies.

Dominic and his crew are very nice people to have work done. Very Professional. Very quick workers. We would recommend them to everyone!

All is well until you call him back to question his work and ask him to come back and fix the peeling coating he put on and warrantied. He doesn't hold up to his word! Poor business man and the secretary will never get back to you as she says she will. Only places the good picture on website not what his work will look like in 5+ years down the road.

I asked for and received several quotes for my project, and was taken aback at the price Antonio’s gave me. Four of my quotes were in the $6K to $7K, but their’s was over $16K ! Perhaps they just simply didn’t want to do the job - they could have just said so. Or perhaps they saw that I have a contracting business and thought I was made of money? No matter - their price was ridiculous. What they didn’t know was the fact that, in my professional career, I was director of operations and construction liaison/manager at three major facilities in the past 25 years. I have worked with every conceivable trade and countless contractors, cement included. I know how it works and, even more important, how much things cost. I put together my own rough estimate using home improvement store material pricing and current union labor costs. I still came up with a price $6,200.00 less than Antonio’s bid. Something is amiss. I’m certain they do a good job, although from reading other reviews communication and schedules are not a concern to them. I don’t know what kind of work they do, but I can tell you to get at least two other quotes. And for those folks that gave 5-star reviews - I’m glad you are happy with the work they did. You paid entirely too much!

Dominick was hired to help prevent water from coming in the basement. From the very start, I was not happy with them. They were more concerned about getting in and getting out than providing any quality of work. They broke my dryer vent. They didn’t cover anything and left a complete mess. Just about a year later, everything they did completely failed. Dominick came back and said rbis shouldn’t have happened and would make good. That head never happened—even my repeated attempts to contact. I even sent him more pictures. My basement got so bad, I had to remove and undo what they did. The attached pictures will show how bad things got. Everything they did crumbled and failed. DO NOT HIRE!!!

The prior poor reviews about shoddy work that they “guarantee” but don’t hold up to are true. Poor craftsmanship and no responses. They repoured concrete on our patio sitting over our garage. They graded it so the water either sat on it or flowed right to the house leading to leaks into the garage. I called them 10x times but they never came back to fix it. Go with a more reputable and professional contractor. Stay away from these guys.
