After struggling to find a good dentist for years, I am extremely happy with the service at Modern Dental. Friendly staff the talks you through the billing process. And Dr. Demarco is so kind, always shakes my hand and asks me how I’m doing. He checks in throughout the procedures to make sure there’s no pain. And explains everything he’s doing before he does it. I’ve had to go in to get many fillings replaced that were done by a different dentist and so far, I haven’t had any problems with the ones from Modern Dental. Very happy to have finally found a GOOD dentist in Erie.

Imagine seeking dental care for a cracked tooth, only to have the office remove part of the tooth, provide incomplete treatment, and then state that there is nothing further they can do—referring you to a higher-level dental provider for a procedure they could have initially recommended. You are then informed that appointments with their referrals are booked for one to two months, leaving you to find another provider who can both perform the procedure and accept your insurance. After finally securing a provider for a root canal and cavity removal, you receive an email stating that this dental office will no longer accept your insurance after February. While I initially believed this was a good and reliable practice, this experience reflects a lack of transparency and continuity of care, likely due to internal staffing issues. As a result, I will not be returning to or supporting this dental office or its practice.

Just had my 6-month visit at Modern Dental Group with Dr. Demarco. As always, they were on time, compassionate, and professional. I was out in about 30 minutes if you don’t count chatting with the friendly staff on my way out. They focus on teaching and are honest and encouraging. I’ve been a patient here a very long time. I’m grateful for all they do. They’ll make you ❤️ a visit to the dentist!

Fabulous experience with Dr. Chris DeMarco. Fast and easy scheduling - excellent patient care!! Best of all - no pain!! I highly recommend this dentist.

As always, the staff at Modern Dental is not only courteous and professional, but friendly and welcoming, even with the new weird Covid way of life. Dr. DeMarco is thorough and comforting, and Janelle is simply amazing...she is gentle as she works, she gives me pointers on how to clean my teeth properly, and where I'm missing when I brush. There's no other place I go for regular human maintenance that makes me feel as much like family as Modern Dental!
