I made a mistake to go with someone else. My aunt did my taxes for last year, thinking it won’t become a problem, give her a shot I thought, it would be it done faster. I was trying to buy a house with my wife. I was on 1099 wife on W2. I didn’t show much potential as a buyer last year so I knew I had to pay a bit to look good with the Bank. Once my Aunt filed the joint taxes, couple days later, she mentioned that she made a slight mistake. Found that I don’t have to pay as much so I thought good that’s great. I wish she knew what she did wrong. Why PA did not get anything, but I ended up paying a penalty and paying the original amount which was detrimental that month. I asked her and bugged her about it so that she could learn for herself and gave her plenty of time then the last time I asked she couldn’t get what I was getting at, apologizing that she didn’t understand. What’s hard to understand? Why did I pay penalty? Why did your system not send to PA. Thinking she would own up to the mistake and figure it out not by means of paying what I paid, but thinking she’ll fix it since she’s trying to grow her business. I guess for her it’s sorry and move on. My father has been with Bensink for quite some time. Told me that’s why you don’t go with an experienced person. I can’t give a her second chance because she didn’t take the time to figure out what happened. I hope she gets better and more experience and doesn’t do it to other people. From now on, I know who’s doing my taxes. Not only am I get a good tax return this year, I potentially will get what I overpaid last year as well as the penalty thanks to Bensink. I highly recommend

After being assured that I could speak to Scott upon hiring him to do my business and personal returns last year, I have only met his wife and staff who are very rude and unprofessional. When asked what "$300 in extra bookkeeping fees" that were tacked on to my bill they could not explain. Please do not hire this practice for your taxes.
