Zero help on the service side and extremely confusing answers regarding prior tax years. I was told I needed to file and pay the balance, but they could not confirm whether paying the balance would stop additional fees or future bills. I was transferred three times to the wrong departments just to receive the same vague, inconsistent responses. Based on my experience—and consistent with other reviews throughout Pennsylvania—I would not recommend this company to any township or city looking for collections services.

Very helpful to someone new to the Erie area. Very quick accurate and courteous service However, IF YOU PLAN ON PAYING INSIDE THE OFFICE THEY ONLY TAKE CHECKS AND MONEY ORDERS! If you have to pay with credit or debit, you must make an online account which is pretty easy to do. And pay online at Berkheimer's website. CREDIT DEBIT AND CASH ARE NOT ACCEPTED INSIDE OF THE OFFICE! Should you need to get a money order. The nearest Place, you can get a money order. Is @ the west ridge road Walmart Wegmans no longer offers money orders at all! The Berkheimer's office is only open from 8:30am to 4:30pm mondays, Wednesdays and fridays
