I recently went to this office to have my taxes done, and the woman who prepared them was very kind, professional, and thorough. She clearly explained everything and made the process easy to understand. Unfortunately, a man who was said to be the owner stood in the doorway and made a racist joke about me possibly having to leave through the back door because ICE was in the front parking lot. It was offensive and inappropriate. The tax preparer sincerely apologized, which I appreciated, but the comment made the experience very disappointing overall.

My folks (long deceased) went to Walt for years and got me going. They loved him, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I encouraged a young family to meet with him few years ago, and they recently told me they "love him." That means a lot to me!!

Do not use Walt or AFS. 2 years of messing up my taxes. 2 years of leaving over $1800 out of my pocket. 2 years of headaches with the state because he refuses to actually do what he was paid to do. Find someone else and save yourself the money and headache.

They messed up my dads tax papers so badly. Hes in debt with the IRS for 25k because this guy didnt file his taxes properly

Been with AFS for 8 years. One of the best tax preparers around Erie PA. I would recommend his service at all levels: Individual and Corporate. Very understanding man, and by the way he makes sure you get a lot of that money back and charges way less than his next door neighbor (HR Crook...lol.)
