After another well known veterinary practice compromised the health of my dog, I was lucky enough to get an appointment with the Animal Clinic and Dr. Hallowell. The receptionist was very welcoming and extremely helpful getting my dog's medical records transferred. Kathryn, the vet tech, was very knowledgeable and patient. The doctor explained everything thoroughly and answered every question I had. I have complete confidence in his assessment. If you are going to a practice where they are more interested in making money and doing test after test then your pet's well being, you might want to check out this one.

Prices seem to have doubled in the last three years. I initially switched over to The Animal Clinic when I was price shopping for teeth cleaning about three years ago. My dogs teeth have worsened again and when the provided a quote, it was double what I paid the first time. I also believe I was misquoted for the cost of a routine visit. The receptionist had gone over options on the phone ahead of the appointment, and after the visit when it was time to pay my bill, it was about $100 higher than discussed. I may be switching to another Vet.

I can't speak highly enough about the experience I had with The Animal Clinic and its staff. I'm a resident of New York and drove an hour out of my way to get my animals serviced here, and will continue to do so. This is the only place left in the area that offers cat declaws met with understanding and compassion, instead of judgement and intimidation. To the contrary, not only have my cats healed comfortably, but their temperaments have improved, and both owner and pets are as happy as ever.. They are very reasonably priced, and won't pressure you to purchase any extra services that aren't needed. I highly recommend that you give them a call for any questions you may have, and visiting their office for any of your pet's health needs. I promise you will find that your need for peace of mind will be met ten-fold, as mine was. Thank you staff, see you next check-up!!

Good overall experience, down side it's a bit of a drive in their new location. They don't always have a vet on site, they still de-claw cats.

Dr.Senita and his staff are very professional and nice. My Jacob was treated wonderfully. Wouldn't go anywhere else!
