I wholeheartedly recommend them! I called them in a moment of panic when my puppy accidentally ingested some medication. They were kind, calm and accommodating. Got him in promptly, coordinated with animal poison control and we're able to intervene. They were upfront with cost estimations, answered any questions I had and included me in each step of the plan of care. During his hospitalization I interacted with two of the doctors and multiple staff members. All were professional and took excellent care of my boy.

I have nothing bad to say about Erie Animal Hospital. Cooper sees Dr. Ventrello the majority of the time, from ER visits to normal exams. She's always been kind, answered all of my questions, and has been gentle with my big guy. I usually get an appointment within a good time frame and a couple times I was even squeezed in. Cooper still gets nervous but I believe he likes it here. Upon reading all of the Vet bios, not only do most of the doctors have a long history of experience, but they are also animal lovers. I like to know that their profession was chosen due to a love of animals, and not on income. This is very important to me. I may be a paranoid dog mom, but better safe than 1 less family member.

I rescued a puppy in August 2024 and started taking him to Erie Animal Hospital. Rescuing a puppy can come with some issues since you don’t have the dog’s history. Dr. Ventrello is so helpful and thorough. I absolutely love that I can text with the office and ask questions. Vet care can be expensive so I am thankful Dr. Ventrello gives me all my options and doesn’t push services/procedures. I highly recommend!

The doctors at this organization seem to have a high retention rate with staff. Their employees all seem to be veterans & are all so happy. I see two of the doctors & never leave feeling cheated or lied to.

Our cats and dogs are not just pets, they are members of our families. We trust them to the professionals at the Erie Animal Hospital the same way we trust the health of ourselves and our children to our family doctor. They are skilled, knowledgeable professionals and treat us with respect and compassion. All seven cats and three dogs over 25 years have been cared for by EAH. From beginning to end, the staff has been there to travel with us around the Circle of Life. Thank you EAH!
