Choice Vets Pet Care

This establishment is operated by professionals that are very good at what they do. They explain everything in great detail, they offer everything but the kitchen sink when treating your pet. They will tell you which things they recommend and which things that aren't totally necessary but it's still an option if you would like. They also remind me when my pets are overdue for their shots. I highly recommend this place to anyone, and I have high standards when I go to dentists, mechanics, or veterinarians.

If you believe in miracles, this practice might just be the definition of one. I adopted my dog in July of 2014, and became a client of Dr. Ben’s in June of 2019. Looking back, I only wish I had found this practice when their doors were first opened. We officially made the switch to Choice Vets when my dog needed dental surgery and skin tag removal. My dog had a history of aggression and handling difficulties at our previous vet clinic. Dr. Ben crafted a different, more superior sedation approach which has worked successfully ever since. Over our long history, every visit has been consistently pleasant, efficient, and well-coordinated as a result of their outstanding team work. Every staff member that has been previously employed, and especially the ones that are employed at time of this writing are a notch above. Their care is evident at every step, from the point of check in, to post procedure follow ups. The facility itself is modern, impeccably clean, and equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Minor surgeries I elected to have performed always went smoothly, without any complications - a testament to the extraordinary skills Dr. Ben and his staff bring with them, every day of their career. To illustrate a bit further, while the nurse and I were holding my dog steady, I witnessed Dr. Ben perform an abdominal ultrasound with a level of accuracy and precision, that exceeded what I’ve observed from many specialists in the human medical field. Remarkably, he conducted the procedure while kneeling on the floor, maneuvering the transducer with one hand, and operating the ultrasound control keys from memory with the other, all in a darkened room. Despite these challenging conditions, the imaging was exceptionally clear, which even I could pretend to understand the visuals on the screen at an elementary level. The images were that clear! June 2025, my dog presented with severe lethargy, and excess panting. The results from that very same abdominal ultrasound revealed a vascular lesion (mass) on his spleen, and a smaller one on his liver, in addition to bloodwork trending in a negative direction. Suspecting at first, the possibility of hemangiosarcoma, Dr. Ben recommended urgent treatment at a specialty clinic in Pittsburgh / Akron, which unfortunately at that moment in my life, traveling that far was not possible (had a terminal family member to care for and could not be far from home). Understanding my situation, he once again crafted a more conservative, yet safe treatment plan using prednisone, herbs, and supplements to stabilize my dog for future surgery. Though it was a challenging period, his condition gradually improved under careful monitoring, and adjustments. This approach paid off in many ways as I was able to still enjoy every hour and every day with my dog leading up to the surgery. As someone who struggles with anxiety over uncertain outcomes like this, once the surgery was scheduled, Dr. Ben and his staff went out of their way to be accommodating. I was deeply grateful to be placed in the room adjacent to the surgery suite, which the nurses kept me updated throughout the entire procedure. I was even allowed to be present to assist with him recovering from the anesthesia. This level of accommodation was above and beyond anything I have experienced and meant a lot to me at a personal level. Larger, corporate run clinics would have conducted the recovery process on their terms, and behind closed doors. The surgery was a complete success, and just as you would have guessed, there were no complications! Even more incredible, the results from the pathology came back benign, further confirming the right decision was made. Through Dr. Ben and his dedicated team, I truly experienced a miracle! If you are seeking a veterinary team that combines adaptable, cutting edge medicine with compassionate care, I cannot recommend Choice Vets highly enough – especially for those considering surgical procedures.

My baby girl Harley is a cat that swollen a sewing needle and needed help and Dr.Ben was there through a lot of Harley progress. I want to thank you for everything. And staff were really good too. Thanks for letting me have Jet 24 News there also

Dr. Ben and his staff are an amazing team of professionals. We have always felt like our pets are well cared for from the time we walk in until we leave the office.
