Claim it freeErie Water Works is a trusted septic & sewer provider serving the greater Erie area. With a commitment to quality, they deliver reliable septic & sewer services to residential and commercial customers throughout Erie, Millcreek, Harborcreek, Fairview, and surrounding communities.
Many homes in the outer Erie County communities of Harborcreek, Fairview, and Summit Township rely on septic systems. High water tables and Erie's heavy precipitation, including over 100 inches of lake-effect snow, create unique demands on septic systems. Pennsylvania regulations require regular pumping and inspection, and all work must be performed by licensed professionals.

I genuinely don't even want anything, I just think it's disgusting that grown men with the tiny bit of power to block a road off felt good enough to walk in front of me as I pulled up to a stop sign two streets away from my house to put a road closed sign. They were doing absolutely nothing there and he did it to be petty because when I went around the block and parked I watched the same man put the sign back in the truck and leave. I called and some supervisor told me they said they were finishing up a job site. They were not, they were working two streets away right by my house little do they know, and they had finished just under an hour before this occurred. Pathetic.

They have jumped our usage way up on our bill. We have been calling and going in circles with these people. They are incompetent and unhelpful. We have no leaks or change in usage within our home. They'll make claims that usage is estimated because of our meter being blocked, despite no one ever making an attempt to read a meter in our home, and in the same exact conversation, state that they don't need access to our meter to read it. The issue started after construction began in our neighborhood to change the lead goosenecks but they claim that the two are unrelated. However, they also claim that it's not a them issue when it quite obviously is either an issue with the meter itself or something on their end.

Horrible to deal with this company. We pay by automatic payment with our credit card. In December we phoned to give an updated credit card due to the last one changing dates. In February we received a letter stating that our water was going to be turned off due to lack of payment. The water authority changed their payment portal without informing us that we needed to change our payment procedure and we had just talked to them in December! Charged us a $30 late fee on top of everything else. Glad we are moving. The letter stated they were sending someone to our door to put up a sticker of non-payment. After 30 years of being a loyal customer and never missing a payment. Really gone downhill.

I'll keep it short and sweet, this is more for management to hear and acknowledge! These 5 stars are for an EMILY. Hope I spelled it the way she does. I called customer service about an issue and was rudely spoken to by the 1st woman, i should have asked her name, asked for a manager, voicmail out of office, hit 0, man picks up, sends me back to customer service, another lady immediately sends me to a manager. Who also was not there, I left a message. I called back, waited awhile, then Emily answers and fixed everything right away with the same information everyone else had on their screen. Shout out to Emily, if you need help at erie water works I recommend asking for her, thanks Emily!

The new Tyler Portal is terrible. Whoever decided the switch to this “new” system was a good idea should be fired. It should not be this difficult to pay you guys. A $10 processing fee for a cc/debit card payment is outrageous. To avoid paying Tyler’s insane processing fee you need your account number, customer number, routing, checking and 30 minutes just to get through all the prompts. Why not have phone number recognition to expedite the process? 2 phone calls later to get set up for Auto pay and I’m still lot sure if it’s set up properly because the website didn’t send a confirmation email. Do better.
