Claim it freeErie Water Works - Administration Building is a trusted septic & sewer provider serving the greater Erie area. With a commitment to quality, they deliver reliable septic & sewer services to residential and commercial customers throughout Erie, Millcreek, Harborcreek, Fairview, and surrounding communities.
Many homes in the outer Erie County communities of Harborcreek, Fairview, and Summit Township rely on septic systems. High water tables and Erie's heavy precipitation, including over 100 inches of lake-effect snow, create unique demands on septic systems. Pennsylvania regulations require regular pumping and inspection, and all work must be performed by licensed professionals.

I have to agree with the other posts, customer service at Erie Water Works is backwards, asks you to show up with ID to sign paperwork to turn water back on but then email then but then doesn't look at the email, even though '6 employees monitor the email' be at the property but can't give a time.. said their employees don't have cell phones, obviously lying about that and can't turn the water back on because I might be a squatter, I'm the owner .. who is paying the bill with my debt card.. hmm.

EWW sent out letters about the water project and promised it would give 24-hour notice for water shutoffs. Today marks the THIRD time this summer my water has been shutoff with no notice. The construction workers also drill concrete early in the morning with no respect that downtown State Street has hundreds and hundreds of apartments, many filled with people who work nights at the hospital. And don't even get me started on the rows and rows of trees they cut down......which they did at 7 in the morning on a Saturday of course. The city looks HIDEOUS. Can't say enough bad things about how this is just another self-absorbed institution ruining this city.

It is absolutely ridiculous there is an $11 fee to pay by phone. In this day and age most people do not have checks anymore because of the pay by phone or online. How is this amount of a pay by phone even legal?

I go there to pay my water bill

Positives - Convenient location Negatives - Rude, nasty, impatient MAN & women working as customer service agents AND very "questionable" bookkeeping when it comes to customer billing.
