Lived at the Carriage Hill Area and never again will I live under something owned by Altair. Their management team is horrible. They disregard you even if you have proof or valid questions as does their lawyer. They do not put your money into the proper account after a certain amount of years which is ILLEGAL. They upcharge like crazy and won't negotiate despite being a good tenant. My rent increased nearly double in 4 years and no upgrades or anything was done. In fact they took away the outside storage and never replaced it. They are a joke. Take pictures and videos. Good luck.

I had to call the police after my camera picked up loud noises and voices after 8PM tonight while I was away. Maintanence entered my apartment without any notice and left a tag on my counter to say that they were coming around the next day to replace an appliance. This is for L P since they can get away with not having their actual property available for review. This place has been far less than ideal for my first 4 months but tonight really takes the cake. Practice due diligence.

It use to be a nice place but the owners don’t care about keeping the property in good repair anymore. I have too many complaints to list here. In good conscience, I could not recommend this as a place to live! Maintenance is understaffed and they don’t pay them well enough to stay.

I love Altair! Angela Weaver and her team provide exceptional service!! My family moved to Erie from out of state (for Erie Insurance) and we stayed in Carriage Hill Apartments, Millcreek, until we decided to purchase a home. Since that time we have referred family and friends (professional couples and singles) who relocate or are from Erie, to ALTAIR, as a FIRST CHOICE! Altair goes above and beyond!!

I've lived in Lovell Place (owned by Altair) for a little over a year and a half, I believe. As soon as I moved in I remember thinking I would live here as long as I lived in Erie, PA. My previous landlord and apartment were horrible and I dealt with issue upon issue. There aren't enough apartment buildings like Lovell here and there need to be. I love the ease of doing laundry and collecting mail, and the fact that we have parking around the building makes it so stress-free. Most other apartments in Erie do not have off-street parking. There have been little quirks (power outage, AC not working) but for me they have all been fixed in a quick and efficient way. I give the noise a 4/5 because I live on the top floor and only ever deal with noise from my neighbor next to or below me. There is the train nearby and when it's pouring it can get quite audible, but honestly I got used to it after a month or so. As someone who can get annoyed by repetitive and/or loud sounds, it doesn't bother me. The proximity to downtown and where I work is also huge bonus to me. Angela always organizes happy hour events, too, and I just feel like I'm in the right community and building. I wish I could take Lovell with me to other states or cities whenever I leave
