I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. I've been living here for multiple years, and the snow removal [among other things] has gotten abysmal recently. Tell me why my building alone is out of at least 8 spaces, not counting cars from neighboring buildings having to move down to out building to park cause THEYRE losing spaces. I KNOW your plow service has the ability to remove snow instead of just uselessly piling it in encroaching piles because they REMOVED THE SNOW LAST YEAR. DURING SNOWMAGEDDON. Also love that y'all just causally have holes in the ceilings of stairwells that you place buckets below to collect water. And the washers/driers down for what was that, six months across multiple buildings??? Anyways. Figure out how snow removal works or I'm getting ahold of a company who can and will be giving you the invoice since it's literally your job to take care of lawn/parking-lot/snow maintenance. I swear to god if I get an auto reply about how you take my concerns seriously I will laugh, because your new parent company has yet to respond to any emails regarding prior issues. Also? since I'm just I'm just complaining now. Love how your new rent portal is jank and won't let me pay my rent? not only can I not log in, we can't pay by multiple checks? I would complain about not being able to drop off checks or money orders in person, but considering I found out you have a history with multiple residents of losing said checks for months on end, I'd rather not give you the chance to lose my money again. anyways. This place is a joke. don't rent here please. I genuinely regret referring friends here and am embarrassed.

To anyone and everyone who plans on MOVING into Tanglewood, or is eyeing this place searching for apartments, I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. DISCLAIMER: I am going to give some flowers to the MOST RECENT/TEMPORARY apartment landlord/manager: Meagan, as she came into this apartment community AS soon as Monarch took over, and she's been trying to power through the insanity that this place ensues, I give her credit where credits due. (2/18/2026). I've lived at Tanglewood for three years, since 3/10/2023, and this is not at all feasible and enjoyable living. The management is sadly a never ending problem, that changes quite often. You cannot rely on maintenance to do their job efficiently, and the morale and amenities are lack luster, which is such a shame. We paid $1125 during my first year. $1205 the following. Now at the end of my final lease, i've paid $1270. The overall experience of living here has not UPGRADED or ACCOMMODATED for anything living wise, maintenance wise, or renovation wise. (Yes, I am aware of market and pricing changes, I am in no way shape or form naive, or ignorant when it comes to that). PARKING: Guest, and or visitors are NEVER consistent, and people who aren't residents here will take advantage of the front building parking spots, even though residents should inform their guest of parking in the back spaces along the street. AMENITIES: --Residents have a tendency to neglect dog care/dog feces. If you have little ones or children, be weary and be aware of the constant fear that you or your loved ones will attract, or even, step on dog poop & garbage. (Fun fact, they've had to close the dog park plenty of times due to residents & their ignorance & rudeness when it comes to their dogs). -Washers & Dryers only consists of ONE PER BUILDING. Don't count on maintenance to properly come to your buildings rescue and repair it in sufficient time. We have had 3-6 instances where our laundry unit was broken due to incorrect use and mishandling. One time, it took 3 months and excuses for them to fix the washer. Then we waited 1 and a half to 2 months for fixing at one point. Just recently, 02/2026, its been well over A MONTH since our washers been broken. It was "Fixed" for TWO days, then suddenly got unplugged, and now no one is being notified about it AT ALL. We've made calls to the property about it, and it sounds like to me-- Maintenance DOES NOT communicate AT ALL to the management what so ever. PAYMENTS/PROBLEMS/PRIVACY: -We have ran into several issues where billing and pricing have been sent our way about rent, that were completely incorrect, or being notified that we were being EVICTED from our space, or owed rent even though it was already paid for. We've had issues where a group of individuals ALL smoked outside constantly, but would think its funny to peak into our windows. Meaning, at almost every other hour of the day, someone was casually staring into our Apartments. We have to constantly have our blinds closed as a result. -Heating & Plumbing is an absolute joke, and even if we take a moment to give our new management some grace-- Tanglewood has genuinely harbored HORRIBLE results due to that area of this communities neglect. Constant issues where Heat doesnt kick on even when turned up during the cold times, but suddenly working flawlessly when its 40-50 degrees? The plumbing here got so badly neglected & never checked that THREE BUILDINGS pipes and sewage BURSTED simultaneously back to back in 2024. This place has completely missed the mark on numerous occasions, and I genuinely feel that if you're apartment hunting, PLEASE... look some where else. This experience is almost over for my family & I, and it's not something I will be looking back on as a good thing.

There are condoms, drug pipes, and bottles littering the parking lot. There is high traffic late night activity with the smell of various drugs in my building until 3-4 am. I have found used condoms on multiple occasions in the parking lot. Management refused to do anything when it was reported to them despite claiming they would take care of the condoms and trash in a written email. My vehicle was broken into once in 2022. And several weeks ago, the catalytic convertor of my vehicle was stolen when it was in the parking lot. I was the victim of an assault and harassment while walking my dog on the property in 2022. Management was made aware of these issues but has refused to increase security or add security cameras or to work with the police. I requested fair housing accomodations in 2022 due to my disability. Management has refused to provide any of those reasonable accomodations, such as clearly marking their property line. I overpaid my rent in 2022. When I made management aware of this, they refused to refund the overpayment and instead applied it as credit to my account. In February 2023, I paid the rent with money orders. Management claimed to not have received any rental payments despite the fact I had receipts of the money orders and the money orders were cashed by Tanglewoods. The landlord recently left a notice on every tenants door that everyone needs to reduce their electric and water use. Management claimed they knew that tenants were letting the water run while brushing their teeth and leaving lights on when they were not home. However, every apartment has blinds so it is curious how the landlord would know what is happening in each individual apartment without being invited inside. I had to report a potential fire in one of the buildings last year. When I tried to call the emergency mainetemence line for Tanglewood, which is supposed to operate 24/7, the voicemail was full. I had to report a break in this year after someone attempted to kick in my neighbors door around 4 am. There are still visible marks of forced entry on my neighbors door despite management being told of the damage and break in attempt via email. The lease includes a condition that there are supposed to be "quiet hours" after 10 pm. However, there is high velocity traffic to the third floor of by building from 10 pm to 4 am. There are fumes that smell like drugs coming down from the third floor. On more than one occasion, I have seen small plastic tubes that look like crack cocaine vials in the entrance to my building. I have emailed these concerns to management regularly, including pictures and videos. Management has yet to ensure the disruptive noises and drug activity on the third floor stops. They have yet to install any type of security cameras despite cars in the parking lot being broken into and vandalized. The playground is constantly filled with trash, such as bottles, eating utensils, toys, and alcohol bottles. This makes the playground unsafe for children. The water has been turned off multiple times in the last 6 months with less than 24 hours notice. The electric and heat were also turned off for repairs without 24 hours notice. This resulted in the destruction of the insulin I had in my refrigerator. Management sent a notice this year to all tenants that people are entering the building and removing clothing from the washer and dryer. Management sent notices out last year that people were stealing produce from the communal garden on the property. My first floor apartment has sustained water damage since I moved here in 2020. When it rains, the drains are clogged with rocks and sentiment and the parking lot has significant standing water. The water then pours in to my apartment and the hallway. There are massive puddles in front of the entry door when it rains, making it impossible to get inside without soaking your feet, shows, and socks. Drain and sewer flooding damaged the building.
