If I could rate 0 I would. Moved in had issues right off the bat. Things never got repaired from move in date. Lived for over a year. Had to buy out of lease even though they had a new tenant within 3 weeks. Left the place looking amazing. They are keeping the deposit trying to ask for more sighting that if walls looked not perfect white after normal living charge for all new paint. Left the place as clean as it was when moved in charged massive cleaning fee. Moved out and turned keys in on time still trying to charge for some time in the place. Asked to review and meet and the middle and break even nope they want it all and more we were ok with no deposit at all knowing the horror stories we were told by others who had left their properties. No parking. Never able to get in contact with anyone. Went without heat several times. Fire place never worked. Plowing was a nightmare. I truly would never rent from them ever! Had I read the reviews I would have stayed away.

I had one of the worst move out experiences living here (in Copperleaf). The apartments themselves are very nice and we had no problems with maintenance or anything while we were there. BUT when we moved out earlier than our lease (we paid for the next 2 months after as well) we did not receive our security deposit back after cleaning the entire apartment, paying OURSELVES to get the floors cleaned, and turning everything in on time. They said that every wall needed repainted for “scuff marks” which could’ve easily been cleaned off (and were not there on any of my videos i took when leaving the apartment) and if there was “discoloration or fading” on the wall it was blamed on us the tenants and we were charged for the painting. I would consider this maybe general upkeep for the OWNER of the building… not the tenants who rented it from you. I am happy to be out and will never work with Palermo again.

They're fine enough for what you pay, however you will not get your security deposite (if you're lucky) or you will get charged upon move out. I was charged for them having to redo their own repair jobs they did prior to me moving in. My husband has also lived there in the past and he had the same types of issues. They will do anything they can to justify keeping your entire security deposite even when you return the apartment in better condition than you got it.

This is the absolute WORST place to rent from!! From our front door not being secured upon move in, to knife (stab) marks on our half bathroom door, to our carpet smelling like weed throughout the entire house it was AWFUL. There is absolutely NO parking at Brookwood and they will tow your car without calling you first- making you pay for the tow fee. Maintenance even knew house crappy these places are stating multiple times to us that the owners are too cheap to fix things the right way. Erin Rood was an absolute horrible property manager. Screening our phone calls, lying to us. I’m sure that she was getting all her info from the owners however, she was not friendly at all. We left our townhouse better than we got it and still got charged for cleaning that I guarantee was not actually done since when we moved in it was disgusting! Anyways, please read and listen to these reviews before considering living in these places!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!! Never missed a bill nor owed them ANY money when i moved out. Mine and my 2 other roommates first time renting and they scammed us knowing we were young. They turned us to the debt collectors saying all 3 of us owed them $3000 separately. when we were never informed of anything!!!
