Claim it freeChuck Ollinger Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is a trusted plumbing provider serving the greater Erie area. With a commitment to quality, they deliver reliable plumbing services to residential and commercial customers throughout Erie, Millcreek, Harborcreek, Fairview, and surrounding communities.
Erie's freeze-thaw cycles and 101 inches of annual lake-effect snowfall create unique challenges for plumbing systems. Frozen pipes, burst water lines, and basement flooding are common issues for homeowners in Millcreek, Harborcreek, and downtown Erie. Pennsylvania law requires all plumbing work to be performed by a licensed plumber under PA Act 27.

Had these folks out earlier today to address a heating / boiler issue and the service tech was excellent; very thorough, knowledgeable, and efficient! I highly recommend this local, family owned business for any heating and cooling needs!

Ollinger Experience 1. Had an appointment on a Monday, you guys canceled on me the day before. 2. You only canceled that appointment, so I had to call you to reschedule. 3. When I got that appointment, two men came over and said I only have 90 minutes to be here. 4. I had to call you to get them back to do the rest of the stuff I needed done. 5. I was so frustrated with the situation, I called your boss, and when he answered he couldn't be any more confused and in a hurry to get off the phone. 6. When the day of the appointment came that they are supposed to arrive at 9am, I get an email that they are now coming at 11/12pm. 7. When the guys came over to finish, they didn't put the cover panel on, left dirty handprints on my newly painted walls, and didn't clean up after themselves. 8. Bill comes for over 800.00 dollars for about two hours of work over multiple days and multiple inconveniences. 9. The work is shoddy at best, I spent as much time as they were here cleaning the walls, sweeping up the debris, and sweeping the floor. 10. Couldn't be more disappointed, my family knows the father well, but I guess the business is going in a different direction, since he's not running the show. 11. I don't expect a reply, just a call in the future about where my money is.

I've used Ollinger's for my boiler service a couple of times in the past, and I was initially quite satisfied with their work. However, my recent experience has been extremely frustrating and has left me deeply disappointed. On January 9th, during the windstorm, an electrical surge knocked out my boiler. When the technician arrived, they quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty Switch Relay. I informed them that I needed an accurate report for my insurance claim, and I requested a quote for the replacement along with the reason for it. Given the urgency due to having no heat, I needed them to acknowledge the possibility of surge damage. Several days later, the relay was replaced, and I was informed that the draft motor needed replacement as well. However, Ollinger's failed to provide me with the required report and quote for the entire system replacement that they mentioned. I also asked for the switch relay back, but they did not return it. After the draft motor replacement, I still faced issues with my boiler, and I was told that the control board was now faulty. I reiterated my need for the report, invoice, and the return of the two replaced items for a second opinion. I also inquired about any return policy for the parts they replaced since it seemed like a never-ending chain of component failures. Unfortunately, they refused to cooperate, claiming they were done working with me. This lack of professionalism, failure to provide necessary documentation, and reluctance to address my concerns has left me with no choice but to seek assistance elsewhere. I hope Ollinger's can improve their customer service and communication in the future. Please note that this review reflects my personal experience, and others may have different interactions with Ollinger's HVAC company.

O m g. They were so nice. I shopped around and they were highly recommended and I was kind of hesitant but I called them. Anyway it was a great great choice. They didn't take all day to get me a new water heater. It was in there and then they took the old one out for me. Highly highly recommended that you use the service.

For me, integrity is the most important thing. If you have that all else falls in place. Ollinger Plumbing and Heating has that integrity. They have serviced me for years and they have always been A- one.
