Did a walk in for my Great Danes nail trim. They were a little bit busy so we came back 30 minutes later and as promised they were ready for her. They have to use some equipment in different ways because of her size and it takes 2 people. But she is a good dog and they get her done quickly!

I have always had such a positive experience with all 3 of my dogs - All with vastly different personalities. My dogs are always excited to be dropped off and I never have to worry that they are not having a good time when I leave. My dogs always look and smell amazing when I pick them up. Their hair is always exactly how I like it. Ariel has always done a great job and so has Ashley. It’s evident that they love our dogs like we do! I’m so glad we made the switch from a private groomer. Everyone in the grooming department, as well as the main store, are amazing with my dogs and we love that our dogs are relaxed and happy before, during and after their visits. I’m sure if they could leave a review they would have nothing but nice things to say!

Ariel does such an amazing job grooming our boys Finn & Tate. She’s kind, professional and is always smiling and happy to see the boys when I bring them in. She does everything in her power to make them comfortable and feel safe with her and she truly treats them like they are her own babies. 10/10 I will ALWAYS recommend her to anyone needing an amazing groomer. Ariel is the best!

So I dropped off my fur baby for a 10 o clock appointment and was told that he would be ready at 12. He was going to be groomed by Darla who was new to me. She was not welcoming at all, just getting on with business. I was given the usual paperwork to sign and I turned it over to read what was on the other side. As I was browsing over it she just said that I needed to sign the back of it as if I should not be bothered with what I am signing off on. Really? Then when she opened the little gate for him she told me to put him on the floor. He is such a sweet boy but he has terrible anxiety and he didn’t want to go in. She then proceeded to drag him across the floor with his lease instead of just picking him up. I think she did eventually do that but what kind of groomer treats a dog like that? He was so clearly stressed and she didn’t have one word of assurance to make him feel comfortable. Because I was told that he would be done at 12 so at about 1:40 I decided to call to see where he was at. The receptionist thought that Darla was at lunch and my dog was still not ready. But apparently she was there and he was ready but I had a moment of shock thinking he had an even longer way to go. The nice receptionist checked me out and I was able to get him. Before I left I asked for a report card but apparently Petco does not do that. So I had to ask this groomer if he did okay, any issues she found etc. but she said she saw nothing. In the meantime he has developed these little like skin tags and has about 5-6 of them. How couple she have missed that? His doctor is monitoring them and so far they are benign. In addition she did not clean out his ears properly and I am not too thrilled about the nail clipping either. I can only hope that she bothered to release his anal glands. She was truly unconcerned about my fur baby and I have never met a groomer who is so cold and unfriendly! People who work with animals are usually so warm, kind and will immediately interact with your pet but not this woman. The whole time I was with him from dropping him off to picking him up she did not say a single word to him. I don’t even know how that is possible! So, I would not have this woman groom my dog again if I decide to go back to Petco. His regular groomer moved her business quite far away and because of his anxiety I need to find one closer to home. This is such a disappointing and sad experience and grooming your pet is not exactly cheap.

The groomer, lori, was kind and patient with my shy pit bull mix. She did a wonderful job with shilohs bath and trimming her long nails, I will definitely recommend!
