Move Up Movers

There was no reimbursement. Our insurance agent called them and was informed they do not have insurance even though their website says they do. We tip laborers because it is not their fault they are under poor management. Nothing was wrapped or secured. Mattress bags were brought and left unused. We hired for pack and load (see photo of estimate). Estimator looked at both houses thoroughly and quoted that a competent mover would do it in half the time they charged us for. Move Up Movers is trying to say in the response to this review that they were not hired to pack. Again, I think the photos speak for themselves.

They left boxes up to my ceiling so that was the worst part. They were horribly inefficient and half way through I asked about timing and space and it took 3 hours for them to send more people. They ran into both the house I was moving out of and the storage unit, so they were not careful. On top of all of this I called to complain and they didn’t respond or do anything. Also I was charged by 2 Pure Moving, so something was off for sure. Do not recommend.

Austin and Montae did a great job. They were punctual, friendly, and careful. Would recommend for anyone moving in the Erie area! Also, if you’re on the fence about hiring movers vs doing it all yourself: hire the movers!

I can't say enough good things about Move Up Movers. They worked so hard and went above and beyond. They were very professional, very courteous and very kind. They had to drive a long way through some pretty intense weather but still showed up and stayed late until everything was complete. I highly recommend this moving company if you want the job done right. Thank you Austin and team! You guys are awesome!!

Both movers were very polite and friendly. They did a fine job as well as accommodating anything we wanted, so greatful for these two, Austin and Willie for getting us moved. Oh the weather was very cold and snowy.
