Updated 09/27/2023: I recently posted a review expressing displeasure with the service I received from this law firm. The owner Adam, took it upon himself to personally reach out to me and discuss my experience in depth (good, bad, what could of been different, why). He then proceeded to offer me additional insight that would lead me to the answers I felt didn’t initially get during my experience and has went above and beyond to put myself and my family at ease with this commitment we made from months ago with his firm. He genuinely cares about his customers and how his firm interacts with their clients. I would say if you have any issues with their team, definitely reach out to Adam as he will do his best to make sure the experience is the one you expected! Original: Communication was very seldom and relied on me reaching via email or call multiple times before hearing back on EVERY instance. I have documented 4 emails from the lawyer who was assigned to me over a course of 3 months; with 1 initial 10 minute zoom call with him at the start of my contract agreement. I paid for the business essentials package (smallest one), and got virtually nothing that is listed in the contract agreement. I spent $2250.00 over the course of 3 months to do my own research, find my own answers, and personally contact the local agencies I needed to in order to complete my goals and answers for compliance with the law. I would have been better off saving the money and just learning from my own mistakes. I made all my payments on time and just now am getting contacted a month after my contract is expired/completed asking if everything was completed regarding my case. I had Matt as my lawyer and he left in the middle of my contract and I was notified by a mass email generated weeks after I last heard from Matt. If you go through all the 1-star reviews for this company they seem to revolve around the lawyer I had. I’m not saying everyone here is terrible to work with, and the firm does have great reviews which is why I chose to invest my limited business knowledge and money in them. I just got the short end of the stick in my instance and wasted a couple thousand dollars in my experience trying to hire business lawyers to help start my ventures legally and correct from the start. I 100% regret this decision.

Rust Belt Business Law has been a GAME CHANGER for my small business in health care. Thanks to the help from Adam & Jackie I was not only able to stay solvent during the pandemic, but remained agile enough to add to my work force. Most impressive was their attention to detail, quick responsiveness to a constantly changing regulatory environment, and the overall support and information that came AHEAD of many other experts. I've had the same exceptional treatment from their team member Ashley, and have nothing but praise for this group of seemingly tireless group of humans! HIGHLY recommend.

Nice to have a check in with the firm that I’ve done business with in the past. The people at Rust Belt are outstanding. Follow through to follow up, professional, kind and patient. We will utilize their services again and recommend them unequivocally. True story - sent the team I worked with chocolate covered strawberries the day after closing. How often do you feel compelled to do that with a professional you’ve paid for a service? Give them a chance to impress!

Adam and his team are truly great at what they do and make sure to take care of you. From the friendly smiling faces as you walk through the front door - to the honest, yet compassionate advice. If you want someone who will treat you like family, but be blunt when they have to... Rust Belt Business Law is where you want to go.

If you are a business owner I cannot recommend Rust Belt Business Law enough. Working with Matt McGeehan, Adam Williams, Ryan Avione, Amy Weir and the entire team has been nothing short of critical to my company's ongoing success. Whether its our dealings in Erie, Pennsylvania or overall business guidance from Adam and team on different aspects of our operations - it has been invaluable experience every step of the way. If you are hesitant to work with a legal firm because you have had a bad experience in the past or have been warned by others who have, I guarantee Rust Belt Business Law will change your perspective. They are friendly, attentive, responsive and always looking out for their clients - 5 stars all the way!
