I met with ken and immediately he took charge calling the Courthouse and addressing my situation. He got me a custody court schedule with a week. My daughters my was violating the court order and again Ken took charge immediately! He got me a contempt of Court date to hold my daughters mother accountable. He won the hearing and my daughters mother was found in contempt of court and had to reimburse me court cost. Then on the same morning in got me a permanent custody order for exact times and days i wanted to see my daughter! Ken is worth every penny! Thanks again ken.

Honestly if i could give zero stars I would. Ken was already a hard person to get in contact with between my fiance and I both calling and texting his phone we hardly got anywhere. At times ken seemed very confident and truly made us feel secure. We used Ken in a very important custody case for our daughters and the DAY BEFORE our custody trial he had asked me to re send him everything we had on the situation. In court Ken did NOTHING . He did not show anything beneficial or even talk about anything concerning and important. We had hard core proof of neglect etc. He in no way stood up for my fiance or I while we were being tormented by the other lawyer. This was going on 3 months ago and we haven't received 2 important documents we should have already and ofcourse Ken can not be reached. $7,000+ wasted. There was no way he wasnt payed off.

I hired Kenneth Bickel as a private attorney and paid $1,500 to handle my case. While he is listed as a part-time public defender in Erie, PA, my arrangement with him was strictly private, meaning I paid for his services separately. Unfortunately, he did not properly take my case into consideration. I had several hearings before my plea deal that he never communicated with me about, and I called him multiple times with no response. When I saw him in court, he did not even recognize me. Ultimately, the outcome of my case would have been the same regardless of his involvement, and I did not feel that the work I paid for was adequately performed. I am sharing this experience so others understand that hiring him as a private attorney may not guarantee the attention, communication, or advocacy one might expect.

From my experiences, it's always a pleasure to work with Mr. Bickel. Highly skilled, professional and knowledgeable attorney. Fights hard for his clients. I would recommend him to anyone.
