Erie's lake-effect climate creates specific flooring challenges. Salt tracked in during winter, basement moisture from spring thaw, and humidity fluctuations from Lake Erie all affect flooring choices. Homeowners in Millcreek, Downtown Erie, and Harborcreek increasingly choose waterproof vinyl plank and tile over hardwood for ground-floor installations.

Great selection of different types of tile. We remodeled our bathroom and Terrie was a great asset to picking out our selection. She listened to what my wife was thinking about, she showed a few pictures of finished bathrooms. Then she pulled samples and gave us the chance look them over and talk it out. She gave her professional recommendations and allowed us to select what we really wanted. She made the process easy, helpful and fun. Loved doing business with floor expressions, Our second time using them and we will be back for a couple more areas.

Looked great until three years down the road. 7 loose tiles and the grout is turning to powder and falling out in areas. Was going to pay them to fix it but they acted like they would take care and sent someone out to look at it. Must have been worse than they expected and did not want to back the work. They said they would be back to fix it and never call back. Called back after two weeks and acted like they didn't know who I was and said they never came out and looked at the tiles.

Greg installed a kitchen floor in my home 5 or so years ago, after a couple years grout started coming out and porcelain tiles became loose. After multiple calls to his office and speaking with the secretary, Greg came to my house and looked at the flooring. He agreed something wasn't right and the floor should not like that. Greg said he would get a hold of me and we could work something out. Never heard from him again. Ended up having to replace multiple tiles myself. The tiles we ended up pulling up were not even attached to the floor. Whatever product he used did not adhere to the tile or the floor. I see other similar reviews with the exact same story. I now have to replace the entire kitchen floor because of how bad this floor was installed.

Good experience working with them. Have had several rooms carpeted and had new LVT laid down as well. The staff really helped narrow down choices to find what worked best for me.

After 2 months of waiting, we finally had our new bathroom tile installed this week. The installers were prompt, worked an 8-hour day, were courteous and did a great job of installation. However, it took several phone calls to the sales representative and finally an ultimatum to get there. There were many excuses as to why it was taking so long for installation. We were told that we had been taken off the schedule (for the beginning of July) because Greg Thomas hadn't heard from our contractor regarding some repairs that had to be made prior to installation. When asked why he didn't call the contractor, he said that he lost his phone number. He also said that he had 4 installers on vacation in one week (during the busy season? really??). I finally told them that they had one week to get the installation done or we were going elsewhere. I had also picked out flooring for a new room that we are adding but have canceled that order. I believe that Greg Thomas is a really nice guy, he has a beautiful showroom and he wants to please everyone but his customer service is very poor. I've heard this from several other people, especially when it comes to making repairs after installation. I have my fingers crossed that we don't need any repairs. I would like to have them done before I die of old age!
