Matt did an absolutely beautiful job with our fireplace. The house was immaculately clean during and after the job. He took extra time to show us all of the features and functions. You can tell he really takes pride in his work and cares about his clients! Even the cats approve!

He's the only fireplace expert willing and able to tackle the challenge of converting our outdated (1960s), broken fireplace/indoor BBQ, and turn it into the beautiful ❤ of our home. His vision instantly met with ours and his efforts to complete the task in a timely manner during this Pandemic were outstanding. There was a lot of coordinating and a bit of demo-ing involved, but when all's said and done, he's a man of his word, and it came together in a day! In my opinion, his knowledge and experience in his field are unsurpassed. He lives up to everything you read on his website.

I highly recommend Matters of the Hearth. Matt is a pleasure to work with. He is so knowledgeable and does amazing work. He removed our old wood burning stove and installed a new gas one. He also cleaned our chimneys and fireplace. He is very efficient, with all the work being done in a timely manner and he leaves everything spotless.

Matt come and installed the stove pipe out at my camp and the work was excellent. He is very knowledgeable and friendly as well as affordable. I would highly recommend his work if you are looking for a wood burning stove install.
