Claim it freeFerrier's True Value Hardware & Fireplace Shoppe is a trusted chimney & fireplace provider serving the greater Erie area. With a commitment to quality, they deliver reliable chimney & fireplace services to residential and commercial customers throughout Erie, Millcreek, Harborcreek, Fairview, and surrounding communities.
Erie homeowners rely heavily on fireplaces and wood stoves during long, cold winters averaging 28°F. Lake-effect moisture accelerates chimney deterioration in neighborhoods like Downtown Erie, Glenwood, and Academy. Annual chimney inspections and cleanings are critical for fire safety, and Erie's freeze-thaw cycles can crack mortar joints and damage flue liners.

This is the absolute WORST place to go for fireplaces. The staff is completely unknowledgeable. My husband and I had a gift card from a few years ago worth $800 that we were saving to use to get a fireplace for our new house. NOWHERE on the gift card did it have a expiration date but this past weekend when we went to use it, the staff didn't know what to do so we had to wait until we got a call from the owner and he stated that they will not honor the gift card because they are only good for one year. Again, that is not printed anywhere on the gift card. They made off with $800. Completely unprofessional and complete jerks. Would give them a zero star review if I could.

Nice little shop. Had what I needed and from what I could tell, had most everything you could need for diy home repair. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Going to this store to pick out a fireplace this passed December, 3 weeks ago. We talked to a gentleman and told us our wishes and it seemed a pleasant conversation, we left our phone number for him to call us for a quote before ordering. He has not called us once, we have called him three times, the last time we tried, about 10 days ago, he said he was working on it and he would call us back in one hour, needless to say, we still have not heard from him. We will go somewhere else and spend our money. Never seen such bad consumer service!

Great service! I have been looking for a particular screw for days. I had spent too much time looking around stores in the area, and when I asked for help at these stores, I was returned with a dumbfounded look. At Farriers, I asked an associate for what I needed and was checking out with exactly what I needed in under a minute. Thanks so much!

Literally pulled into the parking lot @ 5:52pm, store closed ar 6pm. The skinny balding gentleman standing at the door decided he was done for the day and proceeded to the lock the doors and make me take my business elsewhere. Real nice guy in the blue polo with glasses
