Most trustworthy mechanic in Erie. Had my starter replaced, it was faulty, and they replaced it for free. Love that they use parts with a warranty in case something happens. Been going here for almost 30 years, not one complaint

We were passing through Erie on a fishing trip and my buddies older Suburban was having a clutch problem. We worried about him getting back to WV but this owner / operator took care of the issue and said, “no charge” get back home safely! This doesn’t happen these days!!! Thank you so much and God Bless You!

This is the real deal. They are knowledgeable, experienced and kind. For anyone looking for a family mechanic, I highly recommend them.

My only complaint is that even though I made an appointment to have my new vehicle inspected, it had less than 2,000 miles on it due to delay in receiving my registration, it took 8 hours to get my car back. I understand that I was not their only customer, but it was a quick job and could've been completed before more in depth jobs. The people were ok, not rude and not real friendly. I used them because I like to give local businesses my patronage. I may not use them in the future, but wouldn't steer anyone away from them either. *received a call from Bob today to talk about the time it took to have inspection completed and I appreciate that very much. Customer service should be key and Bob demonstrated that keeping his customers happy is important to him. I meant to give 4 stars not three and only due to the time it took. I would recommend them and I will use them in the future...*

First off not a great place if you have only one car and have to wait for the car to be done. Seems dropping the car is their preferred way to roll. And it also seems to kind of urk the receptionist when you have to wait and want an actual appointment as opposed to a day to drop off the car. We made it clear my husband had to wait for the car and we're told a time to bring the car in, which was when the mechanics were at lunch. My husband took our car there for inspection and we knew bearings were going to need changed. The inspection went fine then when they went to work on the bearings the guy torched the brake line, they were unable to repair it then, needing the part, leaving my husband stranded. He is literally walking right now very angry and feeling not too confident in the mechanics ability since the brake line was torched! I don't know what will happen tomorrow when somehow my husband is supposed to make it back there to pick up our car but hopefully they will be taking responsibility for the brake line and not charging for parts or labor. Update: My husband let me know they did offer to give him a ride home but not only was he feeling too angry but we needed groceries, so he chose to walk and get what we needed and wait there for his mom to help. One of the main mechanics came in Saturday morning and had the car ready before noon, fixing the damage done by the younger mechanic, my husband also overheard the younger mechanic suggesting to rig a brake line to fix the car, thankfully the main mechanic had more sense. Our car is important and carries around a family of 6, we have to fully trust who we have working on the car, and while there may be trust in the main mechanic, the younger guy is definitely not trustworthy in my opinion, and so for us trust in the business as a whole is diminished. They did offer a discount of 10% for the trouble.
