Kyle and Doug recently installed a central vac unit and additional vac pan in our home. They were prompt, friendly, and professional. The quality of their work is unmatched; the finished product is polished and looks like it’s always been there. We are so thankful for Kyle and Doug and recommend them any chance we get!

When we moved to Erie this past summer, I had to give a vacuum away because we had no room to carry it with us, that was an older Hoover, but super light…so sad. I also had an older, heavy Hoover, that hadn't been used much in the past few years and was not working right. I brough it to Doug Yaple's and Kyle called me to say that it was worth fixing for less than 80 and that it was one that was a workhorse and hard to replace (oh those from the 90's). I was excited not to have to buy a new one with all the expenses of moving into a new house. I also bought a small electric to do a quick pickup of the floor in the kitchen. I was so impressed with the service, friendliness and the feeling of a place where passion and care for customers shines through. I didn't think I'd need to go back, but I found the same vacuum (my mom bought us the same one) at my dad's in Cleveland that was broke. In addition the small vacuum I bought was making noises. I took both in and again Kyle called and for 90 we repaired it. While my dad thought that was expensive, he had no clue that a new vacuum is 200+ or more, so finally realized this was a deal. My other electric vacuum was under warranty and I received a new one. I went to pick them up and again such a warm and welcoming environment. I wish I had more vacuums to repair or they did other services because this is a place you want to come back to and support. I figured writing about it was my 2nd best option since both of these vacuums work like they are brand new. If I find another vacuum with my mother in law or another family member; I will drive the vacuum from Cleveland and back again if needed! When I need a new vacuum, I will definitely come here! Thank you!

My 20+ year old Dyson quit working. Took it here and to my surprise, they fixed it for a very reasonable price. They also switched the cord that was changed by the other location, without my knowledge, to a shorter one. All this was done quickly and everyone I talked to was happy and polite. Can’t say that about too many businesses since Covid daze. Highly recommend them!

Today I was blessed to meet Sylvia! I have a new (< 1 yr old) SEBO and haven't had to buy a vacuum in more than 20 yrs because my last vacuum was a SEBO. I brought my canister sweeper in because I couldn't get the brush roller to come on. I suspected it was something silly but braced myself expecting to have to turn in my sweeper and wait a couple weeks for repair. I shared my story with Sylvia who very kindly heard me out though she definitely could have just taken my sweeper and name, number and promised a call when done. Indeed it was VERY silly and stemmed from my ignorance of new fangled machines, lol!!! I mean who reads directions for a vacuum? To conclude, she took the time to hear me out, plug my vacuum in and trouble shoot right then and there! This spared me going a Long time without my vacuum, extra trips and who knows what fees!! For a single Mom, I can't tell you the value of her customer service this morning - it's priceless and nearly impossible to find these days. What a blessing !! Thank you Sylvia! I love supporting family businesses and remarkable employees - so if you have vacuum needs see Yaples - they will treat you right!! Kim

Fantastic local business!! Bought a Sebo canister vacuum about 2 years and eventually realized it was not right for me even though Kyle & Sylvia explained all the features & functions. Went back to them this week to trade in the canister for an upright and was given a very fair deal! So glad Erie still has this great locally-owned vacuum store!!!
